Our Story: From Kitchen Table to Storefront!
Boomer's Firearms started in 2019 as a home-based FFL in Manitowoc, WI with a simple mission: helping our customers track down hard-to-find, specialized gear. When we sold our house and moved to Two Rivers in 2022, local zoning hit us with a surprise plot twist—no home-based firearms businesses allowed. Faced with either calling it quits or going all-in, we took a leap of faith, used the house proceeds, and built a real storefront.
In October 2022, we officially opened our doors at 8832 State Hwy 147, right between Two Rivers and Mishicot. What started as a unexpected roadblock turned into the best decision we ever made, and we’re so proud to serve our community from a place of our own!

We believe in keeping your options open, which is why we deal in both new and used firearms. Looking to upgrade your setup or clear out some space in the safe? We make it easy with fair trade-ins and hassle-free consignment services. Because we partner with many of the industry's most well-known suppliers, we can source exactly what you need if it isn't already sitting on our shelves. Custom orders are our specialty—if it exists, we can track it down for you.
Gear & Services: More Than Just Firearms
We’re more than just a gun shop. Count on us for a full lineup of ammunition, reloading supplies, optics, and essential outdoor gear. We’re also excited to be expanding our horizons into archery! While our in-store selection is limited, we can easily custom-order whatever archery equipment you need through our online vendors. Plus, we offer professional bow restringing right here in the shop to keep your rig ready for the field.

Whether you are a seasoned collector or a first-time buyer, Boomer treats every custom order like a personal mission to find you the perfect setup.

The Backbone & Backup: Carissa has a full-time job at our local utility company, but her other full-time job is keeping Boomer’s in line. When Boomer heads out into the woods for hunting season, she’s the one keeping the lights on at the shop (pun absolutely intended). While she is happy to run the register and chat with everyone who walks through the door, she’ll be the first to tell you to wait for "the brains of the operation" if you need to talk deep technical specs on a custom firearm build.

The Chief In-Training: You might see our son hanging around the shop helping out where he can. As the official "Mini Booms" of the family, he's learning the ropes of the small-business world early ready to step into dad's shoes when the time comes. He’s the final piece of our three-person crew, proving that when we say Boomer's is family-owned and operated, we truly mean it's just us!
